Subli Glaze™ White Base Coating

Available in 1ltr and 5ltr sizes

This product is a solvent based 2-part white base coating suitable for use on metals, glass, ceramic, and certain plastics.

Description

Subli Glaze™ White Base Coating is used when working with dark coloured substrates or substrates that do not allow any light to pass through them. Subli Glaze™ White Base Coating is applied before the Subli Glaze™ Clear Sublimation Coating to give the substrate a white background on which to transfer the image. The coating is applied wet on wet which means you do not need to dry the white base coating before applying Subli Glaze™ clear coating.

Use it to

• Provide a solid white background on which to transfer an image.
• Maximise the effect of the transfer of the image.

Important Information

Once mixed lacquer should be used within 3 hours.

Clean using conventional gun wash or PU thinners.

How to use Subli Glaze™ White Base Coating

Spray using a conventional spray gun and cure by drying.

Typical drying times at room temperature are:

• Touch dry after 2 hours.
• Hard dry after 24 hours.
• Fully cured after 72 hours.

Force cure at 200 ºC for 15-20 minutes.

Mixing Instructions

For 1ltrs of Subli Glaze™ Frosted Coating mix with:

• 500ml of SG75 Subli Glaze™ Hardener

For 5ltrs of Subli Glaze™ Frosted Coating mix with:

• 2.5ltrs of Subli Glaze™ Hardener
